The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the combatants confronted each other to promote next month's boxing match.
Ex two time unified heavyweight champion Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I will injure his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will seriously aim to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
In spite of those words, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually recognized for his dramatics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather targeted ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
However, the relative newcomer continues to be one of the sport's largest money-making draws, consistently making massive financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and asserted he would derail the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters engaged in the customary confrontation, with their height and weight contrast evident, it emphasized just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the match is really going ahead.
